Heritage Hall Healthcare & Rehab Centers seeks a Staff Development Coordinator - RN to lead the facility's education programs, assess staff learning needs, and plan, implement, and direct training across shifts.

You must hold an ASN or BSN, maintain Virginia RN/LPN licensure, and be certified to teach CNA classes; experience in long-term care and teaching is preferred. Join Nursing Administration to help elevate resident care and staff growth.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the State of Virginia.
• Virginia certification to conduct CNA training classes.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct education programs for the facility staff.
• Assess staff educational needs and plan, implement, and direct appropriate education programs.
• Maintain competency checklists for nursing personnel and annual updates.
• Direct and conduct orientation for new nursing associates.
• Establish yearly master outline and monthly calendar of education programs.
• Prepare written lesson plans and set behavioral objectives for programs.
• Ensure education programs are available across all shifts and maintain records.
• Revise CNA programs per Virginia Board of Nursing guidelines.

Heritage Hall is currently recruiting for a Staff Development Coordinator - RN. The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting all education programs at the facility. They must assess staff needs and plan, implement, and direct the appropriate types of education programs necessary to meet the needs of the staff.
