Job summary

AdamsPlace seeks an RN Infection Preventionist to lead infection control initiatives in a long-term care setting. You will conduct surveillance, ensure adherence to infection control standards, and monitor data related to infections and treatment outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds SC RN licensure, strong communication and leadership skills, and prior infection control or LTC/SNF experience is preferred. This role offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid South Carolina RN license.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience in infection control preferred.
• Experience in LTC/SNF preferred.

RN Infection Preventionist

The ideal Registered Nurse candidate for this position should possess excellent time management, superior organization skills, and be an exceptional communicator. Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• assisting with surveillance throughout the facility to promote infection prevention,
• ensuring adherence to infection control standards, policies, and procedures, and
• reviewing and monitoring reporting data regarding facility-acquired infections, treatments, and control measures.

Qualifications

• Must have South Carolina RN
• Must have superior communication skills & be an effective leader
• Must be flexible, caring, compassionate, and a team player
• Prior experience in Infection Control preferred
• Prior experience in LTC/ SNF preferred
