Job summary

Deepgram is expanding its developer experience by owning the DX roadmap, SDK generation, and multi-language tooling. As Staff Developer Experience Engineer, you’ll reduce friction for developers and set high standards across languages, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Partnerships to raise the bar.

You will build resilient, observable systems and tooling for the SDK surface, mentor peers through reviews and docs, and ensure production quality across platforms.

• Ability to design reusable systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction of developer experience across the SDKs and docs.
• Design and own the SDK code-generation architecture.
• Set cross-language quality standards, versioning, and observability.
• Lead by example through code reviews and documentation.
• Identify and fix root causes that slow developers.
• Build tooling and infrastructure for the generation pipeline.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships.
