Job summary

Deepgram, Inc. is seeking a Staff Developer Experience Engineer to lead the developer experience across our multi-language SDKs and tooling.

You will own the code-generation architecture, standardize quality, and drive a frictionless path from API key to production for developers building voice AI applications. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Partnerships, and Developer Relations to define and raise the DX bar, building reusable, AI-enhanced tooling and templates that scale with

Qualifications

• Proven track record owning developer-facing tooling across multiple languages.
• Experience building AI-powered tooling and automation in developer ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the developer experience roadmap and be the technical lead for the DX area.
• Design and own the SDK code-generation architecture to support multi-language SDKs.
• Set cross-language parity, versioning discipline, and observability standards for SDKs.
• Mentor and influence engineers through code reviews, documentation, and pairing.
• Identify and fix systemic friction in the DX surface to improve developer velocity.
• Build tooling and infrastructure that supports the entire SDK platform and partner integrations.
