Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Staff Developer Experience Engineer to own the developer experience across multi-language SDKs and code-generation pipelines. You will shape tooling, documentation, and integrations that reduce friction for developers building voice AI on our platform.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Partnerships, and Developer Relations to raise the DX bar, improve cross-language parity, and deliver robust, extensible systems.

Qualifications

• Experience owning developer-facing tooling across multiple languages.
• Proven track record with SDKs and code-generation pipelines.
• Ability to design reusable, long-lived systems.
• Strong emphasis on production ownership and observability.

Responsibilities

• Set the developer experience roadmap and act as technical lead without direct reports.
• Own the SDK code-generation architecture to ensure multi-language support.
• Define quality, parity, release discipline, and observability across SDKs.
• Raise the capability of the team through reviews, patterns, and documentation.
• Identify root causes that slow developers and fix them structurally.
