Dayforce is hiring a Staff Developer to set technical direction for an AI-native Intelligent Implementation Workspace. You will own a platform surface end-to-end, frame hard system problems, and raise the bar for engineers.

Qualifications

• Production agentic systems experience.
• Ability to leverage AI to improve execution with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with production software using C# and .NET.
• Frontend capability with React/TypeScript is a plus.
• Designing and delivering reliable, maintainable distributed systems.
• Defining ambiguous system-level problems and driving decisions with impact.
• Strong product mindset and technical judgment for trade-offs.
• Ownership mentality to lead initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and production readiness.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the Intelligent Implementation Workspace and its agentic architecture.
• Design the orchestration, agent, and platform layers turning customer intent into config, tests, and data migration with human-in-the-loop control.
• Build production-ready agentic systems with multi-domain orchestration and evaluation infrastructure.
• Own the quality bar by designing evaluation frameworks and measurements for accuracy and throughput.
• Lead by delivering high-risk solutions and set engineering standards through architecture, design, and reviews.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, debugging, and engineering practices.
• Drive cross-team technical decisions with Product, Design, ML, Platform, and engineering partners.
• Ensure reliability, observability, logging, monitoring, and continuous improvement of solutions.
• Bring strong product judgment to make thoughtful technical trade-offs.
