Job summary

Dayforce is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Software Developer to build AI-powered capabilities within the Dayforce platform. This role focuses on scalable Python services, cloud-native architectures, and AI-assisted engineering practices in a production environment.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers across the software lifecycle, mentoring teammates and delivering robust, reliable solutions that power Dayforce for millions of users globally.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for production software.
• Experience with cloud-native or SaaS apps and distributed systems.
• Ability to design RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern VCS tools.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions and services.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities within the Dayforce platform.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical direction.
• Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Ensure testing, monitoring, and observability are integrated into production systems.
