Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Staff Developer to set the technical direction for AI-native agentic systems, owning a product area end-to-end. You will drive architecture and implementation across WFM, Payroll, Core HR, and Benefits with human-in-the-loop control.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI and enterprise software. You will shape orchestration across domain agents using C#/.NET, React, and TypeScript, ensuring grounded, auditable outputs and production readiness while mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience building production agentic systems and orchestration.
• Ability to leverage AI to improve execution with measurable outcomes.
• Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET.
• Front-end capability; React/TypeScript experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to design reliable, maintainable distributed systems.
• Ability to define ambiguous system-level problems and drive complex decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for the Intelligent Implementation Workspace and agentic architecture.
• Design orchestration, agent, and platform layers for configuration, data migration, with human-in-the-loop control.
• Build production-ready agentic systems with cross-domain orchestration and evaluation.
• Own the quality bar by designing evaluation frameworks and metrics.
• Lead by delivering high-risk-signal solutions and establish engineering standards.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate design, coding, testing, and engineering practices.
• Drive decisions spanning services and teams with Product/Design/Machine Learning alignment.
• Ensure reliability and production readiness with observability, logging, and monitoring.
• Bring strong product judgment and thoughtful technical trade-offs.
