Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Platform Extensibility team and help evolve the Dayforce Workflow platform. You will build scalable backend services and extensible APIs within a multi-tenant SaaS environment, enabling teams to move faster and reduce duplication.

In a full-stack role with a strong backend focus, you will drive AI-enabled orchestration, distributed systems, and cloud patterns, while mentoring teammates and raising the engineering bar.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI-enabled orchestration and enterprise-grade apps.
• Strong C#/.NET production-grade development experience.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and reusable platform capabilities.
• Proficiency with Azure and modern cloud development patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging across backend systems and distributed services.
• Ability to communicate clearly across technical and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core Dayforce Workflow capabilities.
• Contribute to AI-enabled orchestration and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Design and build scalable backend services and extensible APIs.
• Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of high-volume workflow systems.
• Drive engineering standards and operational excellence through modern practices.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to technical leadership across the team.
