Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build AI-powered capabilities within the Dayforce platform. You will design, implement, and deliver production-quality software using modern frameworks, cloud technologies, and AI-assisted practices.

You will work across the full SDLC with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that touch millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development for production-quality apps.
• Experience designing cloud-native, distributed, or SaaS apps.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOD, design patterns, API design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions and services.
• Build and evolve microservices and APIs to support AI-powered capabilities.
• Contribute to distributed systems with focus on scalability, performance, reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and shape technical direction.
• Own codebase areas and contribute to reusable libraries.
