Job summary

Gen is hiring a Staff Data Scientist to join Engine by MoneyLion, a fintech marketplace. You will own end-to-end ML systems from data engineering to live serving, delivering real-time recommendations and pricing across the marketplace.

You will collaborate with product, partner managers, and engineering teams to drive business impact with scalable ML, MLOps, and robust experimentation. This role requires strong Python/SQL and production ML experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across data science, ML, and data engineering.
• Designing and shipping production ML models and analytics.
• Building real-time ML systems for recommendations/pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own production ML models for real-time recommendations, pricing, and conversion prediction across the Engine marketplace.
• Design, build, and manage feature pipelines and data transformations in our data warehouse (Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery) using dbt, Airflow, and SQL.
• Lead large-scale A/B testing and experiments; translate results into product and model improvements.
• Collaborate with product, partner managers, and business stakeholders to translate business problems into data science projects.
• Work with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production.
