Job summary

Gen Digital Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join the MoneyLion Data Platform & Martech Engineering team.

This role will design, build, and scale the data foundations powering analytics, customer engagement, marketing activation, AI initiatives, and financial product experiences across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with data architecture expertise, cloud platforms, and governance to deliver trusted data products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field required.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade data platforms and distributed data systems.
• Expert SQL and strong proficiency in Python, Spark, or Java with emphasis on scalable production code.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and activation/Martech ecosystems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms, ETL/ELT, and AI-ready pipelines for analytics and marketing.
• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade data models and semantic layer architectures using Kimball methodologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business processes into scalable data contracts and analytical models.
• Support Martech and customer data infrastructure (Hightouch, Segment, Iterable, Amplitude) enabling real-time data activation.
• Build AI-powered data products to improve productivity and insights while ensuring governance and data quality.
• Define and enforce platform standards for schema evolution, data lineage, and data quality SLAs.
• Improve operations via monitoring, schema drift detection, and incident response with strong design leadership.
