Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Scientist within the Global Business Solutions Group's Mid Market Data Science team.

You will drive growth strategies for QB Desktop by leveraging data-driven insights to improve retention, reduce churn, and optimize targeting across sales, marketing, and product. As a senior IC, you will translate analytics into actionable hypotheses and partner with leadership to influence revenue and customer success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science with a proven record of applying advanced analytical methods to drive growth preferably in SaaS or fintech
• Proven experience partnering with sales/go-to-market teams; strong retention and churn optimization knowledge
• Strong business acumen with ability to simplify complex insights for stakeholders
• Advanced SQL and Python skills with data visualization experience (Tableau, Qlikview)
• Proven proficiency in causal inference, statistical modeling, ML, and experimental design
• Experience applying analytics to product marketing metrics e.g. funnel optimization and feature adoption
• MS/PhD in quantitative field or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Strategy through Data—translate business problems into analytical frameworks and drive growth opportunities for the Mid Market Marketing team
• Cross-Functional Influence—serve as the data science partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to drive mid-market growth
• Insights at Scale—conduct deep-dive analyses on pipeline, win/loss, and customer lifetime value; create dashboards and self-serve tools
• Improve Customer Retention—own retention and churn analytics, design metrics and interventions
• Data Infrastructure & Governance—collaborate with data engineering to ensure reliable data pipelines and instrumentation
