Job summary

Chime Financial, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to be the dedicated analytics partner to Strategic Finance on Spending portfolio initiatives, including debit, Card, and related products.

The role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, semantic layers, and AI-assisted workflows to empower Finance with self-serve analytics. This is a strategic, area-level position that requires mentoring other analysts and shaping roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics roles spanning finance and product analytics.
• Fluent in unit economics, contribution margin, and forecasting for Finance/Strategic Finance.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python proficiency.
• Deep expertise in experimental design, A/B testing, causal inference, and ML applications to business problems.
• Proven track record as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders.
• Exceptional data storytelling at executive levels; experience with Hex and Looker.

Responsibilities

• Build durable analytics infrastructure and self-serve workflows for Finance.
• Partner with Strategic Finance to design roadmaps and semantic layers.
• Mentor other analysts and help shape cross-functional decisions.
• Translate ambiguous requests into durable data solutions and actionable insights.
• Lead data storytelling with executive audiences using Looker/Hex.
