Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for the TurboTax CRM and Lifecycle Marketing data science team. You will design how we engage customers via owned channels, build predictive models, and lead causal measurement to influence CRM strategies that drive retention and lifetime value.

You will partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Tax leadership to define metrics, learning plans, and scalable data products, framing problems and delivering actionable insights at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science and analytics across a business area.
• Framing the question with first-principles before analysis.
• Designing and interpreting complex experiments and causal inference.
• Experience building predictive models through their lifecycle.
• Creating reusable frameworks and data products adopted by analytics teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence across leadership.
• Navigate ambiguity with data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to use AI-native tools for analyses and automation.
• BS or MS in a quantitative field (advanced degree preferred).

Responsibilities

• Frame the right analytical questions and translate problems into frameworks and hypotheses.
• Define north-star metrics and testing plans with leadership.
• Design and run experiments, quasi-experiments, holdouts, and synthetic tests.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to drive CRM initiatives.
• Build dashboards and data products to enable self-serve insights across teams.
