United States Digital Space LLC's Experimentation Platform fuels decisions for millions of daily users in gaming. As a Staff Data Scientist, you will shape the vision and roadmap, ensure rigorous experimental design, and uphold sound statistical methods across the company.

You will lead cross‑functional initiatives with engineering and product to scale experimentation, mentor 50+ data scientists, and explore AI/LLM tooling to accelerate insights.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments or causal inference projects.
• Ability to evaluate statistical approaches balancing velocity and reliability.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences and training others.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, R, or other statistical languages.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the vision and roadmaps for the Experimentation Platform with stakeholders.
• Provide statistical expertise and ensure sound methodologies in causal inference and experimental design.
• Partner with engineering and product to improve reliability, scalability, and adoption.
• Lead initiatives to educate cross-functional teams via workshops and materials.
• Empower the Data Science team to adopt rigorous causal inference methods.
• Lead original causal inference research on high-priority questions.
• Engage with experimentation customers to enable fast, data-driven decisions.
