The ideal candidate holds a PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments or causal inference projects. Strong statistical knowledge, experience with Python, SQL, R, or similar languages, and a passion for education and data literacy are essential. Bonus qualifications include experience with causal inference methods that impact business outcomes, a track record of leading cross‑functional projects, and familiarity with AI/LLM tools. A passion for gaming or Discord is a plus. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a base salary range of $279,000 to $310,000, plus equity and benefits.
