Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Experimentation Platform team. You will ensure robust statistical foundations for hundreds of daily experiments and guide cross‑functional teams on rigorous causal inference methods.

You will lead education initiatives, develop training materials, and mentor a 50+ member Data Science group while collaborating with engineering and product to scale experimentation across the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and validating statistical methodologies for experimentation platforms or similar systems.
• MSc in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Psychology) and 2+ years of experiments or causal inference work.
• Ability to critically evaluate and recommend statistical approaches that enhance experimentation frameworks.
• Strong passion for education and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs on experimentation, causal inference, or statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve reliability and scalability of experimentation.
• Provide statistical expertise ensuring sound methodologies for causal inference and experimental design.
• Lead initiatives to educate cross-functional teams on experimentation best practices.
• Develop engaging workshops and educational materials to promote data-driven decisions.
• Empower the Data Science team to apply rigorous causal inference methods.
