Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to shape the strategy and measurement of Credit Karma’s next generation of AI capabilities. You will help teams evaluate nascent AI capabilities and translate learnings into strategic direction.

This role blends data, experimentation, AI evaluation, storytelling, and business leadership in a fast-moving environment. You will mentor others and drive impactful, data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science, analytics, BI, or related field in tech/fintech/SaaS.
• Proven ability to shape strategy and influence executives with data.
• Experience supporting zero-to-one products or ambiguous problems.
• Experience measuring AI or personalization products and evaluating generative/non-deterministic systems.
• Strong expertise in experimentation, performance measurement, and causal analysis.
• Excellent storytelling and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI use cases and size business value with personalization and automation.
• Develop AI evaluation strategies, benchmarks, and reliability standards.
• Apply causal inference to isolate what moved a metric in experiments.
• Frame questions, generate insights, and influence roadmaps.
• Build data products and govern decision systems between data and experience.
