Ripple Inc. seeks a Staff Data Scientist to lead analytics across its product and business portfolio in San Francisco. You will define analytics vision, build frameworks, and use AI tooling to accelerate company-wide insights.

You'll frame key questions with product leads, set analytical standards, and enable self-serve exploration while mentoring teams and driving growth through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science or quantitative analysis across multiple teams.
• Technical leadership across cross-functional teams influencing roadmaps.
• Designing reusable analytics and measurement frameworks at scale.
• Hands-on AI to accelerate analytics workflows (agentic analysis, AI insights).
• Deep expertise in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and large-scale data tools (Databricks, Airflow, dbt).
• FinTech, payments, crypto, or blockchain data experience is a strong plus.
• MS or PhD in a quantitative field preferred with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the DS tech lead across multiple product and business teams: set standards and unblock problems.
• Partner with product leads to define analytics strategy and success metrics.
• Build reusable frameworks for product and network health metrics and forecasting.
• Pioneer AI-accelerated analytics using LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Drive evidence-based growth evaluation across customers, corridors, and on-chain activity.
• Define and communicate metrics used by Ripple executives and stakeholders.
• Raise the bar for the DS function through leadership and mentorship.
