Job summary

Reddit's Ads Data Science team seeks a Staff Data Scientist to advance measurement, identity, and signal quality for the advertiser experience. You will own high-impact problems and set a high technical bar while partnering with engineering, product, and sales.

This is a high-autonomy role that shapes strategic direction, mentors others, and drives cross-functional initiatives within Ads across multiple focus areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field with substantial applied science exposure.
• Strong foundation in statistics, modeling, and experimental design.
• Experience applying data science to ads or marketing problems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design/advance identity and measurement methodologies at scale.
• Own lift and experimentation frameworks for advertising products.
• Improve signal quality for predictive performance and bidding ROAS.
• Define ground truth and evaluation metrics for identity graphs.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with engineering, product, and sales.
