Invoca seeks a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Data Platform team, defining the technical direction and delivering on a 3-month plan. You will architect ingestion, streaming, and transformation pipelines that turn call, SMS, and marketing signals into real-time intelligence, enabling AI agents across the platform.

You will mentor teams, align engineering with business outcomes, and drive standardization of data contracts and lakehouse practices to scale across product groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with data platform, infrastructure, or backend systems.
• Proven technical leadership: architecture, delivery roadmap, releases.
• Experience with modern pipeline orchestration and lakehouse platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical vision for Invoca's data platform across product teams.
• Own the rolling 3-month delivery plan and translate roadmap into priorities.
• Build data-integration pipelines and enable downstream teams to ship reliably.
