The role emphasizes scalable code, security, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive data innovations and AI-assisted development while operating in a flexible hybrid model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years with a Master's; or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Java programming and strong data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with concurrency/parallel programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Write highly scalable code focusing on concurrency and memory efficiency.
• Contribute to data management strategies for scalability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data initiatives.
• Tackle data problems including loss detection and recovery.
• Promote data best practices and security standards.
• Monitor and optimize data performance; troubleshoot and improve as needed.
• Stay updated on storage/management tech like S3 and Apache Iceberg and Kubernetes deployments.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools with appropriate guardrails in development.
