Job summary

Intuit seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to architect and scale data platforms enabling real-time analytics and AI-driven decisions. You will work with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure modern, extensible architectures and governance across diverse data sources.

You will lead data pipeline development, promote best practices, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to strategic data initiatives and GenAI readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics or data analytics domains.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and big data technologies (Redshift, Spark, Hive, BigQuery).
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java/Scala.
• Experience engineering data pipelines and orchestration tools; end-to-end big data platforms.
• Familiar with AI-native architectures and GenAI platforms and their data implications.
• Strong business acumen; translate strategy into testable hypotheses and learning agendas.
• Proven data storytelling skills; construct impactful reports and influence leadership.
• Excellent communication across technical, business, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build fault-tolerant, scalable big-data platforms for high-velocity data uses.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to align with requirements and extensibility.
• Develop scalable architectures for data normalization, lineage, governance, and discoverability.
• Collaborate with domain teams to curate datasets for analytics, including Generative AI and Machine Learning insights.
• Perform code reviews and establish CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Mentor junior team members and foster an environment of continuous learning.
