Job summary

Intuit is seeking an experienced data platform engineer to architect and build scalable data systems that power analytics and AI initiatives. You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to ensure extensible, governable platforms and robust data pipelines.

Ideal candidates have deep SQL, big data tech, BI tooling, and programming experience, plus strong business acumen and data storytelling capability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product analytics, web analytics or similar data analytics domains.
• Advanced in SQL, big data technologies, and BI tools.
• Strong programming in Python or Java/Scala.
• Experience in data pipelines and end-to-end data platforms.
• Understanding of AI-native architectures and GenAI implications.
• Strong business sense and ability to translate strategy into tests.
• Proven data storytelling and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build fault-tolerant, scalable big-data platforms for high-velocity data use cases.
• Collaborate with Product Mgmt, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to ensure extensibility.
• Develop architectures for data normalization, lineage, governance, ontology, and discoverability.
• Enable AI/GenAI datasets for analytics, and derive actionable customer insights.
• Lead code reviews and promote testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.
• Mentor junior team members and foster technical growth.
