Job summary

Intuit is seeking an experienced data platform engineer to architect and scale big-data solutions that support analytics and AI initiatives. You will collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to ensure scalable, extensible architectures and governance across diverse systems.

You will drive data-driven decisions by enabling rapid analytics, building end-to-end pipelines, and mentoring teammates in best practices within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics, web analytics or similar data analytics domains.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, big data tech and BI tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Java/Scala.
• Experience in engineering data pipelines and end-to-end platforms.
• Understanding of AI-native architectures and GenAI platforms.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into testable hypotheses.
• Strong data storytelling and ability to influence leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build scalable big-data platforms for high-velocity data use cases.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to ensure extensibility.
• Develop architectures for data normalization, lineage, governance, ontology, and discoverability.
• Collaborate on datasets for analytics, Generative AI and Machine Learning insights.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor junior team members in technical proficiency.
