Job summary

Intuit seeks an experienced data platform architect to design scalable big-data solutions and enable AI-driven analytics. You will work with Product, Engineering, and Data Lake teams to ensure extensibility and robust data governance, while mentoring teammates in best practices.

The role emphasizes building data pipelines, enabling GenAI/ML insights, and leading end-to-end analytics initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics, web analytics or similar data analytics domains.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, big data technologies (Redshift, Spark, Hive, BigQuery) and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Dash).
• Strong programming in Python or Java/Scala.
• Experience engineering data pipelines and end-to-end big data platforms.
• Understanding of AI-native architectures and GenAI platforms.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into testable hypotheses.
• Strong data storytelling skills and the ability to influence leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build fault-tolerant, scalable big-data platforms for high-velocity data use cases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Central Data Lake teams to align with requirements and maintain extensibility.
• Develop scalable architectures for data normalization, lineage, governance, ontology, and discoverability.
• Data and AI Enablement: curate datasets for analytics, Generative AI and ML, deriving actionable customer insights.
• Execute code reviews, promote best practices, and establish CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response processes.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentor junior team members in technical proficiency and collaboration.
