Dune is building a multi-chain analytics platform that makes blockchain data accessible to developers, analysts and investors. We operate with a distributed team across Europe and the eastern US, emphasizing performance, reliability and open product design.

The Data Foundation team owns how blockchain data enters, is represented, and delivered externally, collaborating across Go, Kotlin, Rust and Python to ship scalable data solutions. This is a fully remote role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist with CS fundamentals and ability to adapt to new tech
• Reason from first principles and identify constraints that matter
• Experience building distributed data systems and understanding contracts/invariants
• Comfort with ambiguity: collaborate with product, customers, and team
• Experience using AI tools and awareness of AI failure modes
• Excellent written communication in a distributed team

Responsibilities

• Turn product requirements into technical specifications and interfaces
• Break large problems into shipable work with early value
• Drive architectural decisions across the data platform end-to-end
• Work across Go, Kotlin, Rust, Python selecting best tool for task
• Design for correctness and performance with high-volume ingestion and storage
• Raise the bar on design reviews, testing and planning
• Mentor engineers in a fully distributed team
