Job summary

Netwrix is seeking an experienced data analytics engineer to own the ClickHouse schema, data models, and ingestion pipelines within a remote-first data team. You will build scalable analytics with Metabase, and drive performance improvements across data pipelines and reports for security posture insights.

You will enable data storytelling and collaboration with AI-enabled tooling, taking ownership of end-to-end data ownership and the analytics layer that informs critical decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/analytics engineering, with ownership of an OLAP database in production (ClickHouse preferred).
• Deep SQL and analytical-engine fluency; knowledge of OLAP design, partitioning, and materialized views is important.
• Ability to diagnose and fix performance/memory issues at scale (OOMs, complex queries, etc.).
• Strong BI/reporting experience; dashboards and a reporting layer relied upon by real users (Metabase a plus).
• Comfort with AI-first tools and Claude Code for configurations and automation.
• Willingness to own area end-to-end and set the bar for depth vs breadth.

Responsibilities

• Own ClickHouse schema, data model, and migrations.
• Develop and optimize materialized views, performance, and scale.
• Handle data ingestion, lifecycle, and operability.
• Build reports and analytics via Metabase; enable data storytelling.
• Drive enablement and tooling to empower others (and AI) to contribute.
