Job summary
ClickHouse is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Product Metrics team. You will design, build, operate and maintain petabyte-scale systems that store trillions of records and process millions of events per second, with emphasis on reliability, performance and cost-efficiency.
You will collaborate across engineering teams, drive MVPs, mentor others, and participate in on-call rotations while shaping the roadmap for our data platforms in a fast-growing remote-friendly environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in software development building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- 2+ years of Golang development experience.
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Experience with ClickHouse or similar big-data stacks.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Temporal and Terraform.
Responsibilities
- Define roadmap for Product Metrics team.
- Deliver new features and iterate to improve them.
- Design, build, operate, and maintain petabyte-scale systems.
- Ensure performance, reliability, availability and cost-efficiency of Product Metrics systems.
- Mentor teammates, participate in design discussions, and collaborate across teams.
- Be on-call and own the services you run.
