Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional software engineers to develop and maintain a cloud-native database platform. You’ll collaborate with the core development team to evolve ClickHouse into a serverless, scalable cloud system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Production experience with Go, C++, or Java.
• Experience with on-call and production debugging.
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS (e.g., EC2).
• Experience with data storage, ingestion, and transformation (Spark, Kafka).
• Passion for solving data problems at scale and strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build a cutting-edge cloud-native database platform on top of the public cloud.
• Work on our in-house Kubernetes operator for seamless infrastructure management.
• Improve the metrics pipeline and build systems for better statistics and recommendations.
• Collaborate with core development and data plane teams to support infra use cases and improvements.
• Architect and build a robust, scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.
