Job summary

Quince is seeking a data/ops analytics lead to own analytics for returns, refunds, warehouse productivity, and cost optimization. You will build dashboards, run workforce analytics, and drive data-driven improvements across reverse logistics.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, Python or R, and experience with Looker/Tableau. This role focuses on fast-paced, impact-driven work within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, CS, etc.).
• 7+ years in data analytics or supply chain analytics—preferably with exposure to returns, reverse logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Expert-level SQL; ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Sigma) and automation.
• Strong communication and ability to translate data insights into business actions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting for core KPIs: return rate, days-to-refund, refund accuracy, inventory, and defect rates.
• Measure and optimize warehouse productivity: analyze throughput, units/shift, and staffing efficiency; forecast labor demand.
• Diagnose and improve refund accuracy and quality; monitor refunds and identify root causes.
• Identify and drive cost reductions across labor, materials, processing errors, shrinkage, and network optimization.
• Build predictive models and anomaly detection to flag delays, quality drops, and cost spikes in real time.
• Partner on system improvements and cross-functional initiatives with engineering and operations.
