Job summary

Riot Games is seeking a Staff Data and AI Engineer for the Enterprise Data & AI team in Los Angeles. You will design and build the enterprise data warehouse, develop scalable data pipelines, and deliver AI-enabled workflows and automations that empower Riot’s enterprise functions.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Operations to translate requirements into technical designs, contributing to reference architectures and governance across data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience delivering enterprise technology solutions.
• 8+ years in enterprise applications, data engineering, or platform engineering with scalable data/automation solutions.
• Experience delivering AI or advanced agentic automation at scale.
• Hands-on with Databricks for data workflows and warehouse solutions.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms (Workday, Oracle, etc.) and integration options.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business workflows into technical designs, focusing on automation, conversational agents, and data integrations for corporate systems.
• Design, build, and maintain data/AI platform components and reference architectures (RAG/agents, vector stores, orchestration).
• Contribute to enterprise data models and connect them to business capabilities and downstream apps.
• Develop data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and warehouse-oriented data products.
• Support reporting and analytics by establishing reliable data foundations and patterns.
