• 10+ years in data engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of data engineers and provide career coaching
• Partner with analytics, data science, and product teams to prioritize data projects
• Set the technical direction of the team, processes and tooling
• Ensure technical health of products owned by the team
• Standardize instrumentation, telemetry, and metrics collection
• Ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
• Support cost optimization with scalable data solutions
• Build relationships across Riot and shape infrastructure, standards, tooling, and best practices
