Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a Staff Systems Architect to lead CRM modernization and data infrastructure, delivering scalable Salesforce environments across Sales, Support, and E‑Commerce teams. You'll drive automation, modernize backend architecture for new commercial programs, and enable self-service tooling.

You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and PE leadership to align IT solutions with strategic goals, build robust self-service tooling, and streamline quoting and pricebook

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
• 10 years of system architecture experience with complex CRM solutions.
• 7 years in technical leadership within a fast-growing technology org, with SaaS models.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Marketo.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities and LLMs applied to CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Einstein).
• Deep understanding of key sales/support processes (Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Contract, CPQ).
• Proven track record in process automation and self-service tooling.

Responsibilities

• Modernize CRM architecture to support new programs and pricing models.
• Streamline Account, Opportunity, and Quote workflows; rationalize pricebook management.
• Automate manual CRM processes to enable self-service tooling.
• Explore and integrate AI/LLM solutions within the CRM ecosystem.
• Build self-service tooling for Support and Platform PM teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and PE leadership to align IT solutions with strategic goals.
• Provide production administration and support of Salesforce, Marketo, etc., with SLA adherence.
• Lead projects from inception to delivery as a business partner.
