Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Staff Cloud Solutions Architect to lead our cloud strategy across defense programs. You’ll own architecture from concept to delivery, partnering with ISSMs, program managers, and engineers to ensure mission readiness and secure, scalable solutions in both classified and unclassified environments.

You will drive AWS GovCloud and Azure Government strategies, implement zero trust, and build secure connectivity between domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Minimum 4 years designing cloud solutions for DoD, IC, or federal government programs.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the enterprise cloud architecture across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and on‑premise/hybrid environments.
• Develop cloud architecture documentation and supporting artifacts aligned to NIST RMF, ICD 503, and FedRAMP.
