Job summary

Dexcom, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, is seeking a senior software engineer to lead development of cloud-based APIs and web platforms. You will work in a multi-disciplinary Agile team, shaping architecture and driving delivery across frontend and backend components.

Ideal candidates bring strong full-stack skills (Kotlin, Java, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript), cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and familiarity with modern auth, CI/CD, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
• Experience developing cloud-based software systems (APIs and Websites) in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cloud-based software systems (APIs and Websites) as part of an Agile multi-disciplinary team.
• Interface with product managers, tech support, and customers to gather requirements and feedback.
• Drive architectural decisions, design, and deployment practices in a distributed environment.
• Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response for applications.
