Job summary

Dexcom Inc. is seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead cloud-based API and website development within a multi-disciplinary Agile team. You will collaborate with product managers, support, and customers to understand needs, drive architecture, and evangelize platform capabilities.

The role emphasizes full-stack delivery in a cloud environment with strong emphasis on authentication, security, and interoperability with healthcare data systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience or MSc with 2–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience in building cloud-based APIs and frontend/backend web apps in a distributed environment.
• Knowledge of modern auth frameworks (OAuth2/OIDC, SAML) and healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7v2) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of cloud-based software systems (APIs and Websites) in an Agile team.
• Interface with product managers, tech support, and customers for onboarding and feedback.
• Drive architectural decisions and platform capabilities, ensuring quality and reliability.
