Job summary
Dexcom Inc. is hiring for a platform-focused software engineer to build low-latency, fault-tolerant shared services and APIs delivering healthcare data. You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team practicing Agile methods, gathering requirements, and interfacing with product managers and customers.
The role emphasizes cloud-based development, frontend and backend work, and deployment automation within a distributed environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 5–8 years of related experience, or Master’s with 2–5 years of experience, or PhD with 0–2 years.
- Experience building cloud-based, full-stack applications with modern authentication (OAuth/OpenID/SAML).
- Proficient in Kotlin/Java and frontend frameworks (Angular/JS/TS).
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-based APIs and web interfaces for healthcare data delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers to gather requirements.
- Participate in Agile processes, design reviews, and on-call rotations.
