Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Cloud Platform and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will shape architectural roadmaps, drive AI-enabled tooling, and partner with engineering leaders across teams to scale our SaaS platform.

You have deep Kubernetes expertise, strong Python/Golang skills, and experience with AWS, service meshes, and production systems at scale. You will own critical, high-impact projects in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive Kubernetes experience in production SaaS
• Strong networking and cloud infra knowledge
• Proficient in Python or Go for tooling
• Experience with CI/CD and platform automation

Responsibilities

• Own, operate and evolve our Cloud and Kubernetes based Platform
• Improve security, reliability, cost efficiency and performance of the infrastructure
• Collaborate with Product teams to enable and empower them to build and own their services
• Work with SRE and DevEx teams to ensure a coherent Platform
• Enable self-service and agentic workflow patterns
• Build tooling and AI-powered integrations to reduce cognitive load
• Provide production support for globally distributed engineering teams
• Automate and support operational tasks on critical systems
• Architect and implement simple, maintainable solutions
