AlphaSense is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer for the Core Cloud Platform to lead and evolve our Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This remote role requires hands-on expertise in building scalable cloud platforms and modern CI/CD practices.

You will own operational excellence, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive architectural roadmaps that enable AI-powered tooling and self-service workflows across a globally distributed engineering org.

Qualifications

• Extremely experienced in Kubernetes and its components, containerisation and AWS.
• Proven track record of running Kubernetes and cloud-based SaaS systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of networking, service meshes, gateways and storage layers.

Responsibilities

• Own, operate and evolve our Cloud and Kubernetes based Platform.
• Improve security, reliability, cost efficiency and performance of infrastructure.
