Job summary

AlphaSense, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Cloud DX team, owning the CI/CD architecture and the developer experience. The role involves hands-on Go and Python, enabling delivery at scale across a global engineering organisation.

You will drive progressive delivery practices, build self-service tooling, and embed AI-assisted workflows into the SDLC to improve velocity and quality for ~400 engineers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience leading CI/CD platforms and delivery systems at scale.
• Hands-on production software development in Go.
• Strong background in platform engineering or developer experience with emphasis on CI/CD and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CI/CD architecture and developer-facing experience.
• Improve pipeline reliability, speed, and predictability.
• Define paved paths for product teams to ship fast and safely without deep platform knowledge.
• Own delivery from code merge to production.
• Champion progressive delivery: canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
• Build tooling to make deployments observable, repeatable, and self-service.
• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Portal and self-service experience.
• Partner with Cloud Platform teams on infrastructure while owning developer-facing delivery.
• Embed AI tooling into delivery workflows to boost productivity.
