Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join the Phoenix, Arizona Geo-Civil team. The role offers ownership on diverse mining, dam, and power projects and growth alongside seasoned professionals. Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of regional mine sites, power plants, and dams.
• Create conceptual layouts and perform structural/hydraulic calculations.
• Design with erosion control, geosynthetics, and piping.
• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical proposals, reports, and permits.
• Coordinate civil design with geotechnical/structural/mechanical/electrical teams.
• Provide field support and site inspections as needed.
