AECOM seeks a civil engineer to contribute to regional mine site, dam, and power plant designs. You will produce layouts, perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, and prepare technical drafts for proposals and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities include reservoir/pond design, erosion-control structures, and cross-disciplinary coordination with geotechnical, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams, plus field support and client meetings.

Formación

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with ability to pass MVR check

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the design of regional mine sites, power plants, and dams.
• Generate conceptual layouts/designs and perform calculations/analyses.
• Designs include erosion control features and piping.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and cost estimates.
• Prepare drafts of proposals and reports for regulatory agencies.
• Prepare reservoir and pond designs including geosynthetic lining and breach analysis.
• Design channels and energy dissipation structures for erosion control.
• Coordinate and integrate civil design with geotechnical, structural, mechanical, and electrical results.
• Develop tangible engineering design skills through field experience and site inspections.
• Create engineering drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate across offices.
• Demonstrate ability to build trusting client relationships.
