Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Geotechnical/Dams Engineer to join its Phoenix, AZ office. You will lead geotechnical engineering projects and provide technical support for dams and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dam projects and hold a Professional Engineer’s license. This role requires strong communication skills and a local travel commitment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience or equivalent, with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
• Must hold a Professional Engineer’s license (PE), preferably in Arizona.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Geotechnical Engineering Team as a Principal Engineer.
• Plan and conduct field explorations and lab testing.
• Provide oversight for dam construction activities.
