Job summary

AECOM's Phoenix, Arizona office is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join ourGeo-Civil team. You will work on mining, dams, and power sector projects with ownership of design tasks and guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities include preliminary and detailed design, engineering calculations, and production of reports and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License; ability to pass MVR check.
• EIT certification and PE preferred; strong Civil Engineering design skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using defined procedures.
• Undertake preliminary and detailed design activities.
• Prepare engineering calculations and estimates and review quantities.
• Provide construction support from the office and on-site as needed.
