Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join project teams delivering world-class designs for diverse projects including power, process, healthcare, and government facilities. You will design civil components, review drawings, and support field inspections through construction.

The role requires ABET-accredited education, FE or advanced degree options, and strong CAD skills with attention to detail and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years civil engineering experience required or equivalent.
• FE exam completed with 3 years civil engineering experience, consulting preferred.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years civil experience, consulting required.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil design of projects from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for projects including government, military, power plants, process facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial facilities.
• Design civil components per project manager requirements.
• Apply knowledge of civil engineering concepts, codes, practices.
