Job summary

NinjaOne in the United States is seeking a Staff C++ Software Engineer to join our automated endpoint management platform. You will develop high‑impact software used by IT teams and MSPs to monitor, manage, and secure endpoints at scale, working on the C++ agent and core services.

This role offers hybrid remote work within the USA, with offices in Austin and Tampa. You’ll mentor engineers, shape architecture, and own significant parts of our patching stack as we scale to millions of endpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of modern C++ development (C++17+).
• Experience with cross‑platform development (Windows/macOS/Linux).
• Familiar with gRPC/Protocol Buffers and embedded SQLite.
• Proficient with CMake; Qt and Vcpkg are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Review code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers on the team.
• Define and drive process improvements from gaps to completion.
• Collaborate across teams on integration points with mainline and patching squads.
• Translate roadmap and customer needs into solid technical designs.
• Take on other duties as needed.
