Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Staff C++ Software Engineer to join our team developing an automated endpoint management suite used by over 40,000 customers globally. You will build high‑impact software that runs on millions of endpoints, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

You’ll work on the C++ agent in our patching stack, writing near‑metal code, implementing install/rollback logic, and shaping architecture as one of the most senior technical

Qualifications

• 10+ years of C++ development experience in enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux (Win32 API, POSIX).
• Experience with gRPC/Protobuf, SQLite, and CMake.
• Experience with Qt and Vcpkg is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers on the team.
• Process implementation and improvement – identify gaps and drive fixes.
• Cross‑team collaboration – align with mainline, catalog, and other patching squads on shared ownership and integration points.
• Ensure product/business‑level needs are engineered into the product – translate roadmap priorities and customer needs into sound technical design.
• Other duties as needed.
