Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Staff C++ Software Engineer to advance our endpoint management platform. You will work on high‑impact software used by IT teams and MSPs to monitor, manage, and secure endpoints at scale across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

You will join a fast‑paced, agile team to shape architecture, mentor others, and build scalable systems running on millions of endpoints. Remote‑friendly with US state flexibility and hybrid options at our offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 10+ years of C++ development experience with modern C++ (C++17+).
• Experience in cross-platform development (Windows/macOS/Linux; Win32 API, POSIX).
• Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Familiarity with SQLite and embedded database patterns.
• Experience with CMake.
• Proficiency with Qt and Vcpkg is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Review code for correctness, maintainability, and architectural health.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on the team.
• Prototype and implement process improvements; drive them to completion.
• Collaborate across teams to align on architecture and integration points.
• Translate roadmap priorities and customer needs into solid technical design.
• Support and contribute to patching workflows across platforms.
